Our Story - Fischer's Honey

We are the largest and oldest honey processing and packing plant in Arkansas.

From a local beekeeper’s hobby to the largest honey plant in Arkansas

Raymond Fischer who kept bees and extracted honey as a hobby started the company in his family kitchen.

It didn’t take long for the word to spread with neighbors about the quality of Raymond’s local, raw and unfiltered honey. The business grew from the kitchen, to the basement, to the garage, to the first honey plant in the late 30’s.

During the sugar shortage of World War II

We gained distribution through Little Rock warehouses to all of Arkansas and eventually the surrounding states.

We have since made four expansions to our plant to widen our distribution for loyal customers and keep up with new demand. Through it all, our excellent quality and taste has remained the same as Raymond first shared with friends in 1935.
